This fine cello and bow will be awarded to a cello student who has attended the SICMF and who is not in the financial position to purchase a fine instrument and bow themselves. The cello and bow are estimated to be worth around R100 000 and students wishing to be considered for this award must email a letter of motivation to either Graham du Plessis grahamduplessis@hotmail.com or SICMF Director Peter Martens martensp@sun.ac.za. Motivations must be received on or before 31 August 2020.
